Introduction
Welcome to QTube (the “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We take personal information seriously and process it in accordance with applicable laws.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service. By checking the consent box on the sign-in page and using the Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
1. How we collect and use personal information
We collect and use personal information only for the purposes described below, unless we obtain further consent or law requires otherwise.
1.1 Account registration and sign-in
To provide account access and security, we collect your email address (email OTP editions) or phone number (SMS OTP editions) and send a one-time verification code. Without this information you cannot sign in to core features. After sign-in we store session credentials (such as access tokens) and last-login time for security and continuity.
1.2 Short-drama creation and generation (core features)
To deliver script-to-video workflows, we process content you submit or that is produced while you use the Service, including: story briefs, scripts, storyboards, dialogue, prompts and revision notes; uploaded or confirmed reference images, keyframes and other media; generated scripts, boards, images, videos, subtitles and assemblies plus related metadata (project name, shot IDs, status, duration); and technical settings needed for generation. Do not submit unlawful content or others’ personal data without authorization. You are responsible for content you provide.
1.3 Credits, billing and deposits
We record credit balances and ledger entries (charges, deposits, gifts) and usage needed for billing. If you use deposit features, we process order details required to complete payment and support (order ID, amount, token type, status, on-chain txid where applicable). Payment rails may be operated by third parties under their own rules.
1.4 Support
If you contact support, we may process account details, issue descriptions, screenshots/logs and related order or generation records to resolve your request.
1.5 Security and operations
To keep the Service secure and reliable we may process logs (access time, actions, errors), device/network data (browser, OS, language, IP address, approximate location from IP), and fraud-prevention signals (abnormal login, rate limits, captcha results).
1.6 Product improvement
We may use aggregated, de-identified or anonymized statistics to improve reliability and experience. Information that cannot identify a person is not personal information.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies or local storage to maintain sessions, preferences (such as language) and basic security. You can clear these in your browser; doing so may affect signed-in state or some features.
3. Sharing, transfer and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share necessary information: with your consent; to comply with law or lawful requests; with affiliates for consistent service under this Policy; and with processors/partners such as SMS providers, cloud/storage vendors and payment/deposit partners, limited to what is needed to provide the Service, under contractual protections.
We do not transfer personal information except with your consent, or in a merger/acquisition/bankruptcy where we inform you of the recipient and require continued protection, or as otherwise required by law.
We disclose personal information publicly only with your explicit consent or as required by law.
4. Storage and security
Personal information collected while operating for users in mainland China is stored in mainland China, unless a lawful cross-border transfer mechanism applies. We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy or as required by law; after account deletion or expiry we delete or anonymize it except where retention is legally required.
We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards (access control, encryption in transit/at rest where appropriate, auditing and incident response). No method is perfectly secure—please protect your codes and credentials. If a security incident occurs we will take measures required by law, including notice where mandated.
5. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access/copy, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent (which does not affect prior processing), and account closure via in-product support channels. We may verify your identity and respond within a reasonable period (typically within fifteen business days where Chinese law applies). Some information is necessary for core features; withdrawing consent may prevent those features from working.
6. Children
The Service is intended for adults. If you are under 18, use it only with guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect children’s data; contact us to request deletion if you believe we have.
7. Changes
We may update this Policy and post the new version on this page, with notice by popup, banner or other reasonable means. Material adverse changes to your rights or expansions of processing may require fresh consent where required by law.
8. Contact
For questions, requests or complaints about this Policy or our processing of personal information, contact us through the support/feedback channels shown in the Service (login page or workbench). We will verify your identity and respond as required by law. You may also seek remedies from competent regulators or courts where applicable.
